Löwenbooks is now live

We are delighted to announce that the Löwenbooks platform has officially moved into full production. Thank you to everyone who took part in testing and helped us bring the project this far.

Real payments

The payment gateway is now in production mode. All book purchases are real — actual amounts are charged and authors receive royalties for sold titles. If you have been purchasing in test mode until now, standard sales rules apply from this point on.

New fields in the book profile

When creating or editing a book, you will find several new fields:

• Illustrations — you can list the illustrator or add other information about the visual side of the book
• Translation — optional field for the translator or translation details
• Copyright confirmation — before publishing, you must confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the work
• Content warnings — for books marked as 18+, you must select the themes that appear in the text (e.g. violence, erotic content, vulgar language, and more)

The book page now also displays the language of the work alongside other metadata.

New guides in Support

We have added two new articles to the Support section:

• Frequently asked questions (FAQ) — answers to the most common questions from authors and readers
• How to start publishing books — a step-by-step guide from registration to publishing your title

New carousel on the home page

The home page now features a rotating carousel with information about the platform.
